Marks and Spencer Group plc (M&S) has appointed Helen Weir CBE to its Board as Chief Finance Officer.

The company said on appointment Weir will receive a basic annual salary of GBP590,000 (USD922,491.23) and standard benefits commensurate with her position and in line with the M&S Remuneration Policy approved by shareholders in July 2014.
