The value of retail sales in Macau for the third quarter of 2011 reached MOP10.59 billion (USD1.32b), up by 38 percent year-on-year, information from the Statistics and Census Service of Macau shows.

Retail sales of watches, clocks and jewellery amounted to MOP2.70 billion (25 percent of total), followed by retail sales of goods in department stores (16 percent) and leather goods (11 percent).
