Macau's casino and gambling revenues climb 42pc in 2011

Casino gambling revenue in Macau jumped 42 percent in 2011, helped by an increase in visitors from mainland China.
Revenue was USD33.5 billion in 2011, up from USD23.5b in 2010, the Gaming Inspection and Coordination Bureau said.
Macau has been building new hotels and transport links to boost visitors.
