FLAsia 2010 kicks off 21 Oct in Singapore

Franchising & Licensing Asia (FLAsia) 2010, a three-day international event for entrepreneurship, business opportunities & intellectual property rights in Asia, will open on 21 October in Singapore’s Marina Bay Sands resort.

There’s a jump in exhibitor numbers from Asian countries in FLAsia 2010, with 15 percent increase in size from local and regional participants as compared to last year.

Congregating successful franchises and brands, FLAsia 2010 has been a platform presenting established and new business concepts, investment opportunities and a springboard for companies to expand beyond their own shores.

Franchise chains look to capture more market, specifically in Asia through FLAsia in recent years, including Korea’s top franchise brand, BBQ Chicken, Filipino-owned coffee Chain Figaro Coffee Systems Inc, Singapore cream puff Chewy Junior, Japanese express beauty salon by Takemori Corporation and Australian homegrown steakhouse, Hog’s Breath Café.

FLAsia 2010 will feature a segment showcasing business solutions, under the Franchise Retail & Technology Zone. Exhibits range from Point of Sales system, CRM, Digital Signage to barcode scanning and prepaid, loyalty cards solutions, shopfit, security to aid franchisors to build a better bottom line for franchisors and franchisees. A series of talk sessions by exhibitors will also be conducted to benefit visitors.
