Google Shopping: one year on

It’s been more than a year since Google Shopping’s paid service arrived, providing retailers with a new and engaging platform to advertise their products. Replacing Google Product Search, Google Shopping is driven by Product Listing Ads (PLAs), which are designed to help retailers get the most out of their advertising spend on Google.

Advertising through Google Shopping gives retailers greater control over where their ads appear and increases the likelihood of driving quality traffic to their webstore. To utilise this tool to its fullest potential, retailers need to thoroughly understand how to manage their PLA campaigns, what the benefits are and how to engage consumers with their adverts.

E-commerce solutions provider ChannelAdvisor has released an eBook which covers information on:

  • Google Shopping benefits for retailers
  • Google Shopping customer success stories
  • How to effectively optimise for Google Shopping
  • Details about Google Shopping Campaigns: the latest update to this program
