The Mall Group, one of Thailand's largest mall operators, plans to spend THB1 billion (USD32.3 million) this year on a major facelift for two of its shopping-centre brands: The Mall and Siam Paragon.
Some THB400m each is slated for renovating both The Mall Ngam Wong Wan and Bang Kae. The remaining THB200m will be spent at Siam Paragon and The Mall Bang Kapi.
The group plans to bring more international brands to the Bang Kapi branch to service customers' higher purchasing power. High-end fashion brands such as Louis Vuitton will be added at Siam Paragon along with Kidsania, an education centre for kids.
