Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP) of the Royal Thai Government, along with 15 of its associates and affiliates from the Thai fashion, textiles, and leather industries are more than ready to launch the Bangkok International Fashion Fair & Bangkok International Leather Fair 2012 (BIFF & BIL 2012) between 27 June – 1 July 2012.
According to the organiser, the event aims to support Thai fashion and leather goods industry, as well as introduces this local emerging industry to the world market.
The organiser said the event, which will be held at Challenger 2, IMPACT Muang Thong Thani, Thailand, will encourage the potential Thai fashion industry, and also boost Thailand’s economy. In addition, BIFF & BIL 2012 will be another stage for Thai fashion industry associations and Thai designers, helping them to get closer to the world market through the latest fashion trends and innovations.
Highlights of the events included a special workshop on "Display Techniques for the Fashion Industry to be held by Mikel Rosen, the famous fashion guru from the UK.
