Having ruled the milk and dairy products market in India's Delhi and NCR for long, Mother Dairy has now decided to expand its presence in other parts of the country within the next 2-3 years.

"We are planning to strengthen our product range in the southern and western markets," Mother Dairy Fruit and Vegetable Pvt Ltd managing director, Shiva Nagarajan, told India's news agency Press Trust of India.

There is a plan to set up a factory in Mumbai, he said, adding that from there the efforts will be made to increase the footprint to Bangalore and Chennai.
