HK’s Red Packet and VIPbox merge for growth

Launched within weeks of each other October 2009, Red Packet and VIPbox both spent nearly a year building their respective businesses. After more than a year of success, growth and great gifts, the two have united to form Hong Kong’s number one gift experience company.

Red Packet offers a range of gifts that are tailored to provide a range of experiences across wellness, gastronomy, sport and entertainment and discovery themes, which will suit all personalities. It also provides an exclusive Concierge service ensuring a first class treatment to its clients.

VIPbox offers a range of gifts across Thrill, Escape, Discover and Pamper themes.

The two currently offer more than 30 boxes filled with 300 experiences and by this Christmas will be available in more than 70 locations. "Being able to offer a diverse range of experiences that are easily available across Hong Kong is important," said Gerard Belicha co-founder and managing director of Red Packet. "We also need to make sure that all the experiences are unique and exciting, but that’s the fun part – keeping our clients happy."

This Christmas, both Red Packet and VIPbox are offering several newly launched boxes, including VIPbox For Him, VIPbox For Him Deluxe, VIPbox For Her, VIPbox For Her Deluxe, Red Packet Gourmet Dining, Red Packet Truly Pampered, Red Packet Get Creative, Red Packet Kids Play and Red Packet Adrenaline.

Red Packet has been very active throughout the year on the marketing front and also supporting major events such as the Soccer Sevens.
