The Ritz-Carlton, Hong Kong wins Best Achievement in Design award

The Ritz-Carlton, Hong Kong won a 2011 Best Achievement in Design award from the international travel magazine Virtuoso Life for its contemporary design and elegant style, and was the only hotel in Hong Kong to receive such an honour. The five-star Ritz-Carlton is the highest hotel in the world and part of Sun Hung Kai Properties’ hospitality portfolio.

Virtuoso Life is a leading international travel magazine and presents its Best of the Best awards to outstanding hotels every year. The 2011 awards were decided by the editors of the magazine and more than 6,000 travel advisors from 22 countries including the USA and Australia. There were 900 hotels around the world competing for ten awards and The Ritz-Calton, Hong Kong won the Best Achievement in Design award this year; the only winner in Hong Kong.
