Magician Lu Chen set to dazzle audiences at The Venetian Macao

Magician Lu Chen will perform his magic act, DAZZLE, at the CotaiArena at The Venetian Macao-Resort-Hotel on Saturday, 11 February 2012 at 8 pm.

Tickets for his long-awaited debut Venetian performance go on sale today (15 December).

Lu’s refreshing performance style and creative act have been highly praised by the global magic community, making him its most well known Chinese practitioner. Magicians the world over have showered glowing reviews on his new act, with many internationally well-known magicians contacting Lu in hopes of obtaining the rights to perform some of his spectacular on-stage feats. He is the winner of the 2010 International Magicians Society Merlin Award for "Most Original Magician." To the magic community, a Merlin is what the Oscar is to movies; it is the most prestigious award that a magician can hope to receive. Lu is the first Chinese magician to be awarded the prestigious "Neil Foster/Bill Baird Award for Excellence in Manipulation," given yearly by the renowned Chavez School of Magic in the United States. In 2005, he was the first Chinese magician to ever take the stage at the world capital of magic – Colon, Michigan, USA – generating a lengthy standing ovation from an audience of several thousand professional peers. Lu has made several television appearances over the last ten years, and in addition to regularly appearing on television shows in Taiwan and mainland China, he is also the first Chinese artist to have his own prime time television special produced by mainstream Japanese television broadcaster Fuji TV.

Tickets for DAZZLE – Lu Chen Macau Tour go on sale on Thursday 15 December at 10 am, on the first floor of Sands Macao and at the CotaiArena box office at The Venetian Macao. For more information, visit CotaiTicketing.com.
