Ernest Borel opens 1st flagship store in HK, to invest more resources in China

Swiss watchmaker Ernest Borel on Wednesday opened its first flagship store in Hong Kong and released its new collection Romance Series III. Locating the flagship store in Causeway Bay amid premium watch and jewellery brands, the watchmaker plants its roots in Hong Kong and the Asia-Pacific market.

According to Raphael Boillat, President of Swiss Ernest Borel, the company has maintained a strong focus on the Chinese market in the past 20 years and achieved outstanding results, following the opening of new stores in various countries like Switzerland, the US, France, Russia, Turkey, Ireland and Ukraine.

Ernest Borel currently boasts 800 locations in China and an 8 percent rate of growth across the Asia-Pacific. To provide customers with comprehensive and quality service, the brand has also established nearly 50 after-sale service centres, with more planned in the future.

"Ernest Borel will invest more resources in the Chinese market and across the globe in continuation of its brand legend and romantic appeal," said Boillat.
