Emerging markets drive sales for Luxottica

cpp-luxury.com Italian based luxury eyewear maker Luxottica SpA said on Tuesday that fourth-quarter sales grew 12 percent on strong demand from emerging markets, solid US consumer confidence, a sharp rebound in Australia, and said this year was off to a strong start.
The Italian eyewear maker said net sales rose to EUR1.51 billion (USD1.97b) in the last three months of the year from EUR1.35 billion a year earlier.
