Samsung Electronics unveiled on Thursday its first monograph for children – the GALAXY Tab 3 for kids – that it says features a special interface and comprehensive parental controls.

The kid-specific interface has simple design, interesting patterns, and a lot of shortcuts such as quick start camera, photo album and video player.
As an educational device, the tablet has its own Kid’s store to make it easy for parents to easily download applications suitable for children. Meanwhile, parental control management include an application manager that would allow parents to show or hide specific applications so children can only contact with the appropriate content; time management tools to limit children’s use of the device.
