China’s Kappa online store achieves record-breaking single-day sales

Chinese sportswear brand enterprise China Dongxiang (Group) Co., Ltd. announced that its official online flagship store of Kappa brand on Taobao achieved a record-high single-day online sales of CNY10.95 million (about USD 1.6 million) earlier this month.

The online marketing campaign was launched on 11 November, which was named as "Singles’ Day" in China. The marketing campaign resulted in a record-high single-day online sales of CNY10.95m, breaking the group’s highest single-day online sales record of CNY4.05m (about USD 609,800) last year. The daily visitor traffic on that day also reached 1.48 million.

Qin Dazhong, CEO of China Dongxiang, said, "The overwhelming market response brought by this marketing campaign is the result of widespread consumers’ support of Kappa. It has accumulated a group of loyal customers who have shown great enthusiasm in this campaign." The group will continue to develop and enhance its e-commerce platform, he added.
