McDonalds chooses BRI card payments in Indonesia

Jakarta Globe

Cashless payments will become easier for customers at McDonalds in Indonesia, after the local franchisee made a deal with Bank Rakyat Indonesia, the country's third largest lender by market value.

Cashless payments, made by debit- or credit cards, are already available at many of the restaurants crowned by the famous golden arches, but currently account for only around a 10th of transactions.
