Langham to manage Langham Place, Xiamen
Hotel operator Langham Hospitality Group has signed a management agreement with Xiamen Huiguangyuan Langham Place Hotel Management Co Ltd for Langham Place, Xiamen which is set to open in late 2012.
Featuring 330 guestrooms and suites, Langham Place, Xiamen will also offer meeting spaces. These include the Star Room on the 22nd floor overlooking the city, a grand ballroom, and meeting facilities with breakout areas.
Langham's new Chinese luxury brand, 88 Xintiandi
Langham Hospitality Group has entered a joint venture with Shui On Land to launch a new luxury brand call 88 Xintiandi.
The British group has taken over the management of 88 Xintiandi, a luxury executive serviced apartment aimed at luxury travelers seeking Asian sophistication and an intimate club-like atmosphere, located in the heart of Shanghai this month.
The move is the first step that will see the 88 Xintiandi brand concept of Asian elegance roll out across China.
Langham Hospitality Group launches offers to reward longer stays
All Langham Hospitality Group properties across the globe are offering at least 10 percent savings for two-night accommodation, the hotelier announced.
The campaign, entitled Linger Longer for Less, offers guests who linger for three days or more to discover even greater benefits such as complimentary breakfast, internet access and upgrades up to the next room category.
