"Sell what you love and the money will follow" may sound like what one reads in a business management book, but this advice has guided the success of young Hong Kong entrepreneur Regina Sam.
The 32-year-old franchisee of Awfully Chocolate, a Singaporean cake business, brought the brand to Hong Kong in 2008. Sam became hooked after tasting its signature chocolate sponge cake at an Awfully Chocolate store in Shanghai. She later became the exclusive franchisee in the city after fending off two other rivals who applied for it.

China Jo-Jo Drugstores appoints new CFO
China Jo-Jo Drugstores, Inc., which primarily operates retail pharmacies in China, on Monday announced the appointment of Frank Ming Zhao, 35, as chief financial officer, effective immediately. Zhao replaces Bennet P. Tchaikovsky, who resigned to pursue other opportunities. Tchaikovsky replaces Shike Zhu, a director with the company who resigned his position from the board of directors.

Nissan's India partner has new CEO
Dinesh Jain has been appointed CEO of Hover Automotive India (HAL), which is India's strategic alliance partner for Nissan Motors, responsible for sales, marketing, after sales, dealer development and customer relationship management.
Jain's appointment is intended to strengthen HAL's management bandwidth, the firm said in a statement.
He is an alumnus of the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, New Delhi, and has an MBA in Marketing and a PG Diploma in International Trade. He also attended the Global Advance Management Program at the Indian Institute of Business.
China's American Lorain CFO resigns
American Lorain Corporation, an international processed snack foods and convenience foods manufacturer based in China’s Shandong province, on Friday announced the resignation of CFO Yilun Jin. The company has appointed Lin Fu as interim CFO until a replacement is named.
Fu will begin serving as interim CFO for American Lorain effective on Friday. Fu graduated from Shandong University of Finance. She joined the company in 1996 and has served various positions in finance and accounting roles. Her most recent position was chief accountant at American Lorain.
