CEVA wins China Warehousing Service and Management Innovation Award
International supply chain company CEVA Logistics has been presented with the China Warehousing Service and Management Innovation award at the China Association of Warehousing and Storage (CAWS) Annual Meeting 2011 in Shenzhen. The award, presented last month, recognises CEVA's commitment to developing innovative chemical logistics solutions that anticipate the needs of its customer, Huntsman, a global manufacturer and marketer of differentiated chemicals.
HK's jobless rate increases to 3.4pc
According to the latest labour force statistics released on Monday by Hong Kong's Census and Statistics Department, the seasonally adjusted unemployment rate increased from 3.3 percent in August - October 2011 to 3.4 percent (provisional figure) in September - November 2011. The underemployment rate fell from 1.6 percent in August - October 2011 to 1.5 percent (provisional figure) in September - November 2011.
Singapore inflation rise outstrips forecast
Singapore's consumer prices rose at a pace faster than expected in October as the costs of food, housing and transportation increased, underscoring the central bank's concern that inflation is likely to change little over the rest of the year.

Lilliput enters Indian baby-feeding segment
Indian kidswear brand Lilliput has entered the baby-feeding segment with a range of feeding and weaning products.
The products are non-toxic, and bisphenol A (BPA) free, and conform to US and European Union standards of safety and function. The range will be available in all Lilliput and Lilliput World stores, and leading baby shops, departmental stores and pharma chains.
Consumers will share everything
Fewer and fewer people will own cars, appliances and homes, opting instead for shared access to transportation, entertainment and shelter.

IKEA reduces CO2 emissions by 5pc
IKEA has reduced its total CO2 emissions by 5 percent and CO2 emissions from goods transport by 10 percent in fiscal year 2009 compared with the previous year, according to the company's 2009 Sustainability Report. Ninety-five percent of the home furnishing retailer's CO2 emissions is attributed to material extraction, suppliers, customer transportation and the use of products.
