Jakarta mall driver's-licence units called "helpful"
Jakartans now have another valid reason to go to shopping malls – to get their driver and vehicle licenses renewed.
Tresty Putriani, 27, said that with her hectic working schedule, the presence of the outlet to renew her driver’s license at the Gandaria City shopping mall in South Jakarta was helpful.
When she arrived at the mall, the outlet was still closed for lunch. But that did not upset her as it meant she had time to stroll around the mall.
Building high performance teams
In 2011, global recruitment & HR services company, Randstad, again sponsors the AT&T Williams Formula One racing team in a fast-paced, action-packed sport that demands the highest levels of accuracy, dedication and commitment from those in the driver's seat, and those in support. In this article, Randstad illustrates why these same attributes need to be emulated off the track, in the workplace, in order to build truly exceptional high performance teams:

Chrysler recalls 11,000 vehicles on steering performance issues
Chrysler has recalled 11,351 vehicles for a possible missing or incorrectly installed part that could compromise the steering column's performance in an accident, potentially increasing the risk of injury for the driver.
Some of the 2011 model-year vehicles were built with a missing or incorrectly installed pivot rivet on the steering column, according to documents filed with the US National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. In the event of a frontal crash, the steering column's ability to absorb the force of the driver's weight could be hurt.

Consumers, do you know how powerful you are?
The rapid rise of social networks and mobile commerce has put consumers in the driver's seat when it comes to their retail purchases like never before.
With sites like Facebook and Twitter, shoppers – not retailers – are now becoming the critical influencers over what their peers buy. And they are increasingly shopping where they want for what they want for a price they want from their mobile phones.

China’s luxury goods market is still dominated by male consumers, but more women are gaining greater financial independence and buying power. Old factories home to HK's new business of storing fine wines
Thomas Chu's nondescript factory looks like any other in the suburbs of Hong Kong, but it will be a key driver in the city's bid to lead the world in an emerging industry – wine storage.
Hong Kong is now the world's second largest centre for wine auctions, having overtaken London and trailing only New York. But a lack of storage place in the city prompted entrepreneurs to turn vacant factories - whose owners have moved to the mainland to cut costs - into wine warehouses.
