Green Building China (GBC expo) was founded in 1993. It is the oldest and a major construction event in China. During the past 20 years, as an organiser, VNU Exhibitions Shanghai Co., Ltd. has always considered itself a member of the construction industry. In 2012, the company will lead the green revolution and make this event a future-oriented China Sustainable Building Conference and Green Building Exhibition.

Over the years, GBC Expo has been working towards covering the entire supply industry chain of the construction industry. Leveraging on VNU Exhibitions Asia's resources and experience with its real estate exhibitions, retail exhibitions and hotel designs and procurement exhibitions, it attracts numerous professionals from public construction projects, city complex development projects, real estate developers, shopping malls and hotel owners. These particular visiting groups have enjoyed the fastest growing rate during the past few years, and are expected to exceed 9,000 visitors in 2012.
