The Estée Lauder Companies (ELC) is appointing Israel Assa to the newly created role of Senior Vice President and General Manager, Business Operations, Travel Retail Worldwide, effective 1 July, 2016.
In this role, based in Switzerland, Assa will lead The Estée Lauder Companies’ three regional travel retail organizations and will report to Olivier Bottrie, President, Travel Retail Worldwide.
Assa joined ELC at the New York office in 2001 as Executive Director, Travel Retail Marketing and was subsequently appointed Vice President, General Manager, Travel Retail Americas in July 2006.
Since July 2014, Assa has been Senior Vice President, General Manager, Estée Lauder, Travel Retail Worldwide. A successor for Assa’s current role will be announced at a later date.
