Thailand’s Mega Home targets 50pc revenue rise

Thailand’s Mega Home Center Co, a subsidiary of SET-listed Home Product Center Plc, aims to increase revenue by 50 percent this year as it opens four new stores and taps strong demand in border areas.

The company has set a sales target of THB6.4 billion, up from last year’s THB4.4 billion, said Mega Home chief operating officer Supornsri Naktanasukanjn. “The company achieved more than 50 percent sales growth in 2015 and will maintain the same target again this year,” she said.

Seven hardware stores are currently in operation under the Mega Home brand. Of the total, two are in Bangkok and its vicinity, two are in industrial districts and the rest are in border areas.
